While we strive to be a resource for quality, informative writing about anarchism, we also wish to platform and project the voices and messages of our fellows from around the world. We are also set upon building a community around this platform: a hub for the exchange of ideas and comradeship. As well as journalistic content, we also accept other creative works, such as literature, music (recorded or written), visual arts, and so on.
For these reasons, we are always open to submissions. The only criteria that The Commoner requires is that you produce content from an anarchist/libertarian socialist perspective, and that whatever is submitted engages with our key themes:
1. Common Ownership
2. Anti-Capitalism
3. The Deconstruction of Hierarchy and Exploitation
If your submission is accepted, you will be invited to join our Discord server. From there, you are welcome to continue contributing to The Commoner at whatever pace you choose. As a member of the community, you will have a say in how we run ourselves, give suggestions of your own, and join in on whatever other discussions we have going on.
We are also often in need of artists, web designers, and others with online publication expertise to help us in future endeavours. If you would be happy to help us, do drop us an email to express your interest.
So if this all sounds good to you, please feel free to submit any articles, essays, reports, ideas, and creative works you are happy to share. Thank you for helping The Commoner pursue its commitment to international liberation.
